ATM does not publish an invented one-price-fits-all list. A newer locked ECU, an ECU-and-gearbox package, a modified vehicle and a straightforward supported ECU are different jobs. We identify the platform, agree the outcome and quote the complete scope before you book.
The current R5,999 package is a real reference point for supported Hilux and Fortuner 2.8 GD-6 automatic vehicles. It is not a claim that every make, model or modification package costs the same.

The work behind the result
ECU type, software and access
Some supported vehicles can be programmed professionally through the diagnostic connection. Others require a specific unlock or access process. ATM confirms the correct route from the exact controller and software.
Engine only or complete drivetrain
On supported automatic vehicles, coordinating ECU and gearbox behaviour can be central to the result. The quotation makes clear whether TCU calibration is part of the package.
Standard or modified hardware
Exhaust, turbo, intercooler, boost-pipe and emissions-system work changes the required scope. ATM and SNIPER can plan the hardware and final calibration as one build.
Testing and final verification
A credible performance package includes time to baseline, load-test and verify the finished delivery. That workshop and dyno time is part of doing the job properly.

Is it an ECU calibration or an external box?
A plug-in box changes selected signals outside the ECU. ATM writes the confirmed calibration into the vehicle's control software and retains the original file.
Is the gearbox included where it matters?
More engine torque with uncoordinated gearbox behaviour can leave the vehicle feeling unfinished. Ask what the quoted package actually covers.
How is the finished result checked?
ATM uses controlled load testing and its in-house wheel-power dyno to verify the agreed performance delivery on the actual vehicle.

What is included in the R5,999 Hilux and Fortuner package?
The featured 2.8 GD-6 automatic package includes vehicle-specific ECU calibration, automatic gearbox calibration, EGR switched off with related codes removed, supported speed-limiter removal, retention of the original ECU file, professional access where required and final dyno verification. The exact vehicle and software still need to be confirmed.
Do you quote Ranger, Isuzu, Amarok and other vehicles?
Yes. ATM supports many modern ECU-controlled petrol and diesel bakkies, SUVs and performance vehicles. Hilux is the featured package, not the limit of what the workshop can calibrate.
Is dyno testing included?
The written quotation states the testing scope. ATM's featured performance calibration packages include final verification under load so the delivery is checked on the vehicle itself.
Will tuning automatically improve fuel economy?
Some vehicles use less fuel when improved torque allows the driver to use less throttle, but consumption depends on condition, route, load and driving style. ATM never guarantees an economy figure.
